Our promise

At Gautham Jewellers, every pearl piece is hand-inspected before dispatch. If your jewellery arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we will make it right — no questions asked within the return window.

7-day return window You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.

Eligibility for returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet all of the following:

  • Initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • In original, unused, and unaltered condition.
  • With original packaging, tags, certificates, and invoice.
  • No signs of wear, polish damage, or chain/clasp tampering.

Non-returnable items

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene, customisation, or regulatory reasons:

  • Pierced earrings and nose pins (hygiene).
  • Custom-made, engraved, or personalised pieces.
  • Items purchased on clearance or final-sale.
  • Items where the quality certificate or tag has been removed.

How to initiate a return

  1. Email support@gauthamjewellers.com with your order number and reason for return, or WhatsApp us.
  2. Our team will verify eligibility and share a prepaid return shipping label (for eligible reasons) within 24 working hours.
  3. Pack the item securely in original packaging and hand it to the assigned courier.
  4. Once received, our QC team inspects the item within 2–3 business days.
  5. Refund or exchange is processed upon approval.

Refund timeline

After your return is approved:

  • UPI / Net banking / Debit–Credit card: 5–7 business days (reflected in the original payment method).
  • Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): 3–5 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery: refunded to your bank account via NEFT within 7 business days (account details collected via email).
Shipping charges Original shipping (if any) is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged item).

Exchanges

If you'd like a different size, variant, or design, we offer one free exchange per order (subject to stock availability). Price differences will be collected or refunded accordingly.

Damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, tampered, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing photos/video. We will arrange a free pickup and ship a replacement immediately.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped. Once shipped, the standard return process applies.
